6 Circular Walks around Cranbrook
in the Heart of Kent, UK

A WALK THROUGH TIME is the result of collaboration between Cranbrook in Bloom - a voluntary group which  is dedicated to a beautiful and greener Cranbrook now and for the future - and the Kent High Weald Partnership (KHWP), one of KCC's Countryside Management Partnerships, which works with communities to enjoy and promote this beautiful part of Kent.

Cranbrook in Bloom was delighted to receive a £10,000 Big Lottery Grant and coupled with other generous donations from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Cranbrook and Sissinghurst Parish Council, was able to spend a total of £17,000 on launching the project. With the help of the KHWP, maps were drawn up and included in a package of walk leaflets which also featured landmarks, views and historical facts along the way.

Cranbrook, a beautiful market town once renowned for its weaving, and the surrounding villages are all full of fascinating history which makes the walks even more interesting.

A Walk Through Time is intended for all ages and abilities, from the intrepid hiker to people who would just like to ramble around this wonderful part of the Weald, admiring the beautiful scenery and gleaning much of its history.
